MEET MARIE
Marie Canonaco is the Founder and Team Lead of the Marie Canonaco Team, a Toronto-based real estate advisory specializing in residential, commercial, and multi-family investments.
She holds an Honours B.A. in Urban Planning from York University and later earned her MBA from LUISS University in Rome, Italy, with a focus on corporate finance and market strategy.
Following her graduate studies, Marie worked for a boutique finance firm in Rome, supporting high-net-worth and institutional clients with asset-backed financing, valuations, and capital structuring, including real estate acquisitions across Milan and Rome. Upon returning to Toronto, Marie obtained her real estate license and joined a leading brokerage specializing in pre-construction and large-scale residential development.
Today, Marie leads the MC Team as a strategic advisory practice, disrupting the traditional agency-client model. In 2025, she expanded the firm’s capabilities by becoming a licensed broker, strengthening MC’s ability to advise across the full investment lifecycle.
Grounded in financial and market analysis, her team focuses on creating long-term value for every client. Supported by an established network of REITS and investors, they offer clients disciplined guidance and exclusive access to premium real estate opportunities.
